It catches all the hair perfectly! After maybe a week you have to unclog it though because after a little bit of hair collection water can’t get through and it gets backed up.

My husband has deemed this “the best invention of all time.” He was tired of snaking the drain every time I washed my hair. You see, I shed like a yeti. This item has caught everything I have thrown at it. First picture is what I pulled off today, second picture is what my husband pulled off last time before it was thrown away. Even with all the hair on it, the water still drains and he hasn’t had to snake it since. So we highly recommend this item to anyone with a hair that clogs your drain.

Cheap rubber. Does not fit all drains. Does not allow water to drain efficiently, resulting in a pool of dirty water for you to stand in while finishing your shower. Pool of dirty water also means dirt and grime will build up on your tub walls quicker, and you will have to clean the tub more often.Overpriced for what it actually is = a cheap piece of rubber with holes in it. I also had to cut it to make it fit my standard, round drain hole.Not easy to clean either. You have to pick each strand or clump of hair out of each little hole. Causes you to do more work than it’s worth.

This REALLY slows down the flow of water which creates other issues. It does stop hair from going down the drain. Low water flow can cause soap scum and other debris to build up. If there were a way to open it up a bit it would be good.

So I had heard of these things but didn't think they would work and never bothered. But my pre-teen daughter has long hair and last month after cleaning out the shower drain (again) I decided it was worth the money to test this product out. Anything has to be better than pulling disgusting hair out of a drain once a month. It was a good price for the product and arrived quickly. It was bent a little in the package (the other items in the box had sat on top of it at an odd angle and squished it a little) but it's rubbery so once out of the package it was fine. It seems sturdy (not flimsy). I read directions (easy to follow with pictures although it's self explanatory really) and stuck it in the drain. It sits in without having to push or stuff down in there. My daughter reports that it doesn't cause the water to "back up" or "puddle" at all. I waited a week and pulled out to check. Sure enough the hair was wrapped around it and a dry tissue pulled it right off. Easy Peasy! I do recommend pulling it out to clean when it's dry not immediately after the shower when it's wet. For the price, this is a life saver and I definitely recommend to everyone.

This product is amazing. I have thick long hair that always clogs up the drain. I have used Drain-o, drain snakes, and other hair catchers, but none of them can compare to the TubSchroom! This is the best and most effective product to catch all my hair. It is also pretty easy to clean as well.
