I wish I had one of these when I lived in mango country- didn't know they existed -maybe they didn't then. A gentle downward push (careful-sharp blade) and two pieces of fruit are separated from the stone.The shape of the mango indicates the lie of the stone.Not much is wasted along with it.

Doesn't work with larger mangoes - the space in the middle of the cutter will only allow smaller mangoes stones to pass through. Works well with small mangoes: the grip is solid and the blade sharp.

I've had the pineapple cutter for a while now and it's amazing. Was hoping for more of the same from this. It works ok, only problem is it does sometimes bruise the top of the mango which you push down on, especially if the mango is too ripe. Will continue to use all the same.
