Used this twice. Seasoned it as directed and would just store it in my stove with a little oil on it. Every time, I would fine rust coming up through it. Out in the trash it went.

The bottom of this iron skillet is just that extra half inch that you need when frying. The long handle is an inch shorter than my old skillets and the loop handle on the other side is a God send. Sturdy, but not overly heavy. Price is right too.

I've used this maybe 3 times now and the pan has bowed on the bottom! I didn't even know that could happen with these. I've had my other cast iron 6 years and no issues.

I've only used it once but it'd great! I got this particular skillet because of all the positive reviews and they didn't steer me wrong. I suggest googling how to properly care for these before jumping in and buying one if you're new to cast iron like I was. I feel like I just adopted a new pet, these things require some care and upkeep lolNote: the first one arrives cracked. How you can crack IRON I have no idea but it was. Luckily Amazon rocks with returns and I got my new not cracked one and I'm a happy camper.

I bought this pan for my girlfriend for Christmas. The first time she pulled it out to cook with it, we discovered this giant crack down the side. She'd never used it, so this is clearly a manufacturing defect. The company was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and requested photos, which I provided immediately. It's been nearly a month and I've never received a follow up despite attempting to contact them again. Turned out to be a colossal waste of money on an essentially useless pan.

Wer diese Pfanne hat, braucht kein Fitnessstudio mehr...Das Ding ist echt schwer und daher mit und ohne Bratgut beladen nicht mal eben so leicht mit einer Hand anzuheben. Zum Glück hat sie noch einen extra Griff. Die Pfanne ist sehr solide geschmiedet und liegt vollständig Plan auf unserem Ceranfeld. Sie eignet sich sehr gut zum Braten von Fleisch oder Bratkartoffeln. Auch anderes Gemüse gelingt, jedoch muss man, je nach Einsatz von „Säure“ im Gemüse oder bei Soßen, die Pfanne hinterher gut pflegen, damit sie ihre Unverwüstlichkeit beibehält. So ist das eben bei Gusseisernen Pfannen. Nach einigen Monaten ließ diesbezüglich mein Elan nach, auch war sie mir oftmals zu schwer in der Hand und mich nervte es, dass ich immer einen bzw. zwei Topflappen zur Hand nehmen musste, sodass sie nun sehnsüchtig tief hinten im Schrank auf ihren nächsten Einsatz wartet, während ich dann doch wieder zu meinen leichten beschichteten Pfannen gegriffen habe, bei denen ich auch deutlich weniger Fett verwenden brauche. Gutes und sicherlich langlebiges Produkt jedoch für mich nicht dauerhaft zweckmäßig. Aus diesem Grund „nur“ neutrale drei Sterne.
