I have looked at other options but have not found anything better than this. The storage boxes are a not to big or too small. The latches and lid use actual hing pins so they should last. I have three of these units. I purchased the first one about 4 years ago and it is just as good now as it was the day I purchased it. When you stack them, they feel solid and will not unstack with normal inserting and removal of the individual boxes. Two issues keep this from being 5 stars. 1st I think there is too much wasted space between the storage boxes making the overall unit taller than it needs to be and 2nd the Red Container/shelf box can be a little deformed either in shipping or storage. However this has not been enough to interfere with the normal usage. Great product and I am sure I will be getting more of these.

I have owned Plano 974 organizers for many years. My existing ones have been in use for (my guess) almost 20 years, and still work great. I use them as nut/bolt/screw storage, and they have worked and lasted better than all the other (cheapie) alternatives I have tried. I originally bought two 4-drawer units, and have been on the lookout for more as I browse through the various home stores. I finally gave up looking and bought 6 additional units through Amazon.These are really great. They are well built, and the new style clasps work much better than the old. The soft plastic is rigid enough to maintain form, yet flexible enough not to break. They provide plenty of the separator tabs to accomodate fairly small compartments throughout an entire tray. The 4 drawer racks are stackable (I stack 6 high) and easy to fasten to the back wall.So- I would definitately buy again- because I did. Only down side is the cost. At $30/ea the 6 units cost me $180 plus tax. Still, I've seen a lot of storage container operations and these are ideal for my purpose.I have many small lots of between 20 and 100 screws/nuts/bolts/etc. So, I have a rack each for number 6, 8, 10, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 & 1/2 machine/wood/sheet metal/etc. type fasteners. I finally have one location where all my odds and ends of fasteners are stored. It is well worth the investment to be able to easily find the exact correct fastener when I need it.4 stars ****_ (because of cost.)

The adjustable storage slots enable you to fit the unusually sized Heroclix figures with no trouble at all. You'll need a pair of scissors to cut out the slot dividers, which come all in an undivided line (specifically designed for the owner to cut the dividers out). I believe each tray holds about 24 normal, standard-sized Heroclix figures. So about 80 altogether (for normal, standard-sized Heroclix figures without any fancy flying effects or other things that make them taller than usual). I believe each tray holds about 16 of those taller, fancy flying effect-type Heroclix figures. So about 64 altogether.

As a previous reviewer posted, this is a great way to store and transport your HeroClix figures, especially as you can customize the slots to store somewhat larger base characters. Just a caviat however is that some taller figures that are "in flight" may not fit, but again you can customize by removing a row and lying the figures on their sides.

The individul\al trays are ok, though the dividers could sit better. Thhe red enclosure is warped....don't try to stack these, the top is weak.The pegboard that is supposed to be included for mounting is non existant.Not one of my better purchases.Edit: I lowered the rating on this. Once I put the dividers in, the latch didn't want to close. Seems you can only ues a few dividers before this occurs, so this really isn't as flexible as you're led to believe.I'm returning this.

My husband was complaining that he didn't have anywhere to put all the miscellaneous small screws, toggle wrenches, electrical caps etc. I saw this and liked what I saw so I ordered it to surprise him. It came in just a couple of days, was well packaged and looks awesome. Most of all, it has adjustable inserts so he can make the compartments the size he needs. He loved it. It can be either freestanding or mounted on peg board so win-win. Highly recommend this product.

These work great. I do wish it came with a handle like others I've had in the past, but a handle is easy enough to make with a couple pieces of paracord and a couple short pieces of pvc pipe.

Over recent years I have purchased 6 of these units to store tackle boxes on a shelf in garage alongside my boat. While I use them mostly for excess and backup tackle trays, "special" boxes are kept in some of them, so if I am going for a particular species of fish, I simply slide out the box with that tackle in it. It is a great product and a convenient way to story trays. I phoned Plano and suggested that they produce another model which would hold more of their thinner 3701 boxes, as I use that size for most of my "in bag" tackle storage. Quality of the product is excellent and I would recommend to anyone looking to create a more organized way of accessing small parts or tackle.
