I originally had a lid with straw. The straw kept falling off. Replaced it with this cap and I love it. Easy to open and use and then close back up to keep out the germs. Perfect!!

I like this flip cap vs the regular cap. The wide jar type lid cause me to spill on myself often. I wish I also had a straw cap it maybe if I save my pennies, I will be able to order one soon.

I like that I got rid of the straw, but this flip top cap isn't much better. For such a great bottle, Lifefactory needs to do a better job with their caps. Will have to get a different brand bottle.

Most of the cap is hard plastic except for the tiny cap you pop on and off, and that's soft silicone, which makes it seal well but it only takes one hand to open and close. I also like that its a carrying handle that can swing up and down.

this is not 100% leak proof. i had the bottle in a bag and somehow the flip top got flipped open, half a bottle of water spilled on school books etc. never had trouble with the original style cap. but if you keep the flip top cap upright, shouldn't have an issue.

The cap is a silicone type material and it does not leak at all. The seals on the bottom of the Are made of quality rubber and do not leak either. I can see this cap Lasting me for a very long time. I can't say the same for the straw cap. I would most definitely buy another one of these bottles!
