The fancy shape doesn't actually help to roll pastry. The best pastry roller is the Turkish type which is very thin compared with a normal Western roller.

Great for flat breads. Light weight, easy to clean. Bit expensive, but who doesn't like a bit of kitchen bling!!

Rolling pin arrived with a dent in it which has taken away from the beauty of the bamboo rolling pin, not sure what the blue piece of debris is next to the dent. Very disappointed and it was not cheap either. I will be sending this back.

Dies ist ein sehr hochwertig verarbeiteter Teigroller, mit einem Gesamtgewicht von etwa 31g. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich rundherum sehr glatt verabeitet an. Die Farbe ist eher ein mittlerer Holzton, wie auf dem Foto zu sehen. Den Teigroller ziert eine kleine Bambusschleife sowie eine daran angebundene Gebrauchsanweisung.

This is an attractive rolling pin, but it is only tapered at the ends. If your intended use is for pie crusts, you might prefer one that's tapered up to the midpoint of the rolling pin.
