I just received this amazing juicer last week . It is made so well and I can see this lasting for years . You do need to put some muscle into it but I actually like that part . I'mLooking forward to trying other veggies soon . As of right now. I couldn't be happier and my wheat grass juice is great

This was the third wheatgrass juicer I've owned in my lifetime very well-made however the other two juicers I had work extremely well this one you have to use the push stick to get the wheatgrass to move through it I was a little disappointed with that but other than that it works fantastic

This is a solid, but poorly designed product; heavy cast stainless steel construction. It has two significant design flaws and they combine to make juicing disappointing. First, the handle has a very sloppy fit. If you back it up, that is, crank counter-clockwise, and you do have to be able to do that on occasion to make juice, the handle falls off. Second: the auger also has a sloppy end fit and so it doesn't make much juice. I juiced and rejuiced a 12" x14" patch of grass to get less than two ounces of juice. A lot of work for very little. I think the product could be improved, and I will try shimming the auger, and tapping a restraining nut to hold the handle on, but it should not be this hard for the money. It should work well without modification, but it doesn't.The owner's Manual, such as it is, is long on the virtues of wheatgrass, and very short on using the product (English as a second-language).Revisiting: I have shimmed the auger as needed. It boggles the mind that the lack of a $0.75 part should be the cause of such poor performance, but I used a nylon washer to build out the auger in such a way that the end cap, the part that does the squeezing, can actually work. That accomplished, the juicer works well. The loose handle is still an issue, but one gets used to it and can work around it. I have decided to keep the juicer, and tap a restraining nut to better hold the handle on during operation; not absolutely required, but it will make a more satisfying experience.Finding a 5/8 i.d. nylon washer is not easy to do. The company should include several in the basic package. The hassle of looking for the washer keeps the rating at 3, even though the unit can be made to work well. Consider the Healthy Juicer as an alternative.

We get about 4 oz of juice from the grass harvested from about a half a cup of seeds. Juiced grass goes for $2.50 per ounce at our local Whole Foods. Home juiced wheatgrass costs less than 25 cents per ounce. Payback on this machine vs. store bought juice = about 62 oz.Because of the stringy nature of the grass, it will take a few "loads" before the grass gets pushed to the end of the auger and juice starts flowing. Don't expect juice to flow with the first bunch loaded. Keep the screen in for best results. We also run the expelled fibers through a second time to push the remaining unjuiced grass through the auger. This also squeezes out some more juice from the used fibers, but not much.You will get an arm workout using this. If you load too much grass at once, it will be difficult to turn. Just reverse the auger and remove a little of the grass if it gets too hard to turn. You will eventually get the feel for how much you can load at one time.Be sure to clamp this unit on to an anchored surface otherwise you'll be fighting with a moving surface while you crank.There are a few reviews out there that say this machine doesn't work. Those people most likely assembled it wrong (very easy assembly) or didn't use enough grass to get it pushed to the end of the auger.
