The pants themselves seem like reasonable quality for the price. Unfortunately, my pair are missing one of the clips that snap together behind your leg to keep them on. It’s missing the one that goes directly behind my knee, so when I walk both sides of the chaps bulge out and make walking awkward. I considered returning them, but by the time I realized it I was ready to start the saw, so I just used some string. Is it a huge deal? No. But it is annoying considering I spent $50 bucks on these things. 3 words I guess.... Made in China.

It's a hassle to wear chaps but I don't fully trust myself with the chain saw so I got them. They're not bad to put on and they're really not too heavy or stiff when you figure the extra protection they provide.If you're not sure whether to wear chaps, watch some of the online videos where they lay them on a log and hit them with a chain saw. It's incredible and the kind of protection I want.

These fit like it states. Comfort is good considering what they are. I haven't had a situation where I needed to test the safety part of these chaps and sure hope I never do. Been needing a pair of these for awhile and the price was right. I use my saw often and in some very rough environments. I think these are a must because if the unthinkable happens I won't have to worry of bleeding out.

The chaps were defective right out of the box. One of the straps for holding the chaps to your leg was completely missing. I saw another review that said the same thing. The quality control in China is not good. I returned the chaps for a refund and have bought a pair of Stihl chaps locally.

I run marathons. I have a daughter in 7 weeks. I live I jump, I run, I travel the world and I want to do all those things with my daughter and puppy. Today my husqvarna kept spinning when I thought it’d stopped. These pants saved me. I can do all the things I want to do because of these pants.Buy them. Be prepared for the worst no matter how prepared you are.

Easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Not as hot as I thought they would be. Should have been using safety chaps for the last forty years of running chain saws. Finally bought these after barely catching jeans with slow moving chain which damaged jeans but thankfully not my leg. Easy to get hurt when working in brushy conditions where chainsaw can be forced against your legs by springy brush, etc. BUY THESE BEFORE YOU INJURE YOURSELF, they can literally save your life if you cut a blood vessel while working in a remote area.

I've been using a chainsaw safely for years. After taking out around 30 trees on my property after hurricane Michael brought them down I figured I probably shouldn't push my luck any further. Would I wear them? Well yeah, you'd be a real moron to own them and NOT wear them. They're fairly comfortable and pretty warm which is OK as most of my work is in the cooler months. I'm 6'0" and wear 33" waist 32" inseam pants, the 36" length fits fine. Seems a little short at first and I probably could have used the next size up but I don't need coverage over the top of my feet. If you're inseam is more than 32" I'd get the next size up.

These seem to work well. Thankfully i have not had any need to test the real safety feature of this item. The fit is good. I am 6'5" and the legs cover all that is needed. The only thing that i have a problem with is the buckle. It keeps slipping. I have had to add "suspenders" to them to help keep them from falling to my knees(I had a piece of rope and made a strap around the belt). They move well and dont get in the way when i am in the bucket or on the ground cutting. They are not heavy. If it was not for the slipping problem i would forget i had them on.

Some chaps are too short these are not. They are adjustable and fit well. Make sure you order the correct size for your height. We have used these for our trail club for years as well as my employees used them at the park I managed. I have personally had them save my leg from serious injury. They work! They are also affordable.

Very comfortable. No noticeable fatigue after several hours. I wear a 46-48 pant and these fit great with no extender needed even over coveralls. I'm 6'1 and bought the regular length and the length was perfect. The leg straps are a little long, but the length makes them easier to connect when putting them on. I hope I never have to find out if the Kevlar works. These are well worth the money for piece of mind.

ordered the 36" length Chainsaw chaps and they fit perfect for a 30" inseam. One note of caution, the lower (calf) straps if not buckled before walking, create a trip hazard and you can step on the buckle and strip it off the strap. Needless to say, I didn't notice if I was missing the buckle out of the bag or I stepped on it, but I have one to replace. Otherwise, great product.

The leg buckles need a twist on the strap to get them to pull the slack the correct way on the buckle. I would also order a size up as mine are a bit short for a 34 inseam when getting the regular size. A little annoying that the left leg pull strap is on the inside of the leg so the slack is dangling on the inside of the legs. I will most likely make these a loaner pair and get ones that cover the back of the leg as well. However for the money they get the job done.

I have owned these for over a year and believe me,....they get used. They are lightweight but of good quality and construction. You hardly know that they are on while working and an intelligent safety investment. I know that they saved my thigh from getting cut at least once already. Buy em, wear em and pass along the good word.

First off the actual product does not match the picture. The chaps are open at the crotch so if your concerned about the jewels you wont be protected. The belt is a joke as delivered it will not stay tight. The adjustable buckle needs taller teeth to lock the belt. You will either have to replace the belt or if you have a small enough waist wrap it around itself so it doesn't slip. The 36" length was fine for my 5'8" height without rolling the waist over. With the waist rolled over I think the 36" would work for somebody as short as 5''5". Not sure if I'll keep them.

I"m 6' 235# and these fit well. The only drawback, the waistband adjustment kept slipping. I tried small clamps but finally bought suspenders which works great and made putting them on so much easier. The company should just sell the chaps with the suspenders. For those hot days, it would really be nice if the suspenders had a camelback drinking system for those hot days or even better, a pouch for a beer.....:)
