Compared to the top of the line stainless steel pans, this is a steal. Its not perfect, there is a little discoloration in the bottom of the pan after cooking sauce a couple of times. It is easily cleanable with a little barkeepers best friend though, so not really concerned about it. Otherwise, it is great. It is heavy, so keeps heat well, but not so heavy I cannot easily manipulate it, even when its full of water. Its level, some others complained about this, but its not an issue for me. Overall for the price comparison with those top of the line brands, this is a steal and well worth it!

Firstly, I’ve given this cookware set a 5 out of 5 based on ‘best value’ not ‘best quality’. Secondly, I place considerably more trust in reviews from America's Test Kitchen (ATK) / CenturyLife.Org than most user reviews. Similarly, I expect readers of this review to treat it on a ‘for information only’ basis. In a nut-shell the Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12 x piece cookware set is a Chinese made equivalent of the USA made 3D All-Clad range. A great comparison review was written by CentryLife. The only addition I can make to their review is that the sides of the Cuisinart fry pans/skillets are noticeably steeper than that or the All-Clad, as seen in the picture (All-Clad 3D left / Cuisinart right). As noted in the ATK review of 12” skillets, these steeper sides may be detrimental under some circumstances. These two fry pans are comparable in almost every other respect, aside from cost. The Cuisinart Multiclad Pro saucepans do show watermarks more than the All-Clad, these can be removed with Barkeepers Friend. The entire 12 x piece Cuisinart MCP-12N set was only $20 more than my 1 x Demeyere Proline Frying Pan, so my expectations are adjusted accordingly. I believe the performance gap between Demeyere and All-Clad is significantly more than the gap between All-Clad and Cuisinart. High quality workhorse skillets can be purchased at a later date, if required. The Cuisinart set is worth it for the saucepans and stockpot alone, the skillets are an entry point bonus.

Our old cookware was tired and stained so we gave this a shot. The number and types of pieces matched what we had so went ahead and ordered. Shame on me for not reading the size of the cookware. It's probably great for a single person or two folks but if you have a large family get something bigger. The pieces do have a nice weight to them and it's quality stuff, just small.

Well, I ordered the Multiclad Pro version, the one made from three layers, stainless steel, aluminum, and then another layer of stainless steel. I received a Classic Stainless as shown in the attached photo. Not sure why. Especially since I paid for the Pro, NOT the Classic...

The box did not contain all of the pieces as advertised. I contacted Cuisinart and they said to contact Amazon even though Amazon was not the manufacturer just the distributor. When you go to the Amazon page to report missing items from your order you are redirected to the same Cuisinart site that told me to contact Amazon.

Bought in August 2020, now the lining is peeling. Ended up with bits of lining in food and some was eaten, the rest thrown away. So, cost of pan, ingredients, and cooking time…big loss for me. Let’s see if Cuisinart stands behind its lifetime guarantee. Will let you know.
